Joseph Greenlee

Joseph Greenlee is a general practice attorney in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with a special interest in firearms law.  Most notably, Joseph is working on a challenge to gun-control legislation enacted in Colorado in 2013, which imposed a standard capacity magazine ban and burdensome background check requirements. He also filed an amicus brief in the 11th Circuit in defense of Second Amendment rights in what is commonly referred to as the “Docs vs. Glocks” case. Joseph is a co-author of the law review article, “The Federal Circuits’ Second Amendment Doctrines.” And he frequently writes short articles on Second Amendment issues and cases, which have appeared in such places as The Federalist Society, The Washington Times, Conservative Review, and The Daily Journal. In 2016, Joseph received the Second Amendment Foundation’s “Defender of Liberty” award.
