A Colorado native, Kaitlyn Cameron grew up with a view of Pike’s Peak from her kitchen table, where she developed a passion for politics, education, and making a difference in our beautiful state.
Kaitlyn is a student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs where she is about to complete her studies in Political Science and History and begin a one-year teaching licensure program. She currently serves as the President of College Republicans on campus and Marketing Director for the Southern Colorado Young Republicans. She enjoys engaging with other students and helping candidates and organizations to inspire the next generation with a conservative vision for the future.
As a life-long learner, Kaitlyn graduated with honors from the Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Program and subsequently served as a counselor, helping to teach high school seniors about leadership. She desires to empower her peers and other young people with the skills and knowledge to develop into brave, responsible citizens.
For fun, Kaitlyn served as a Student Assistant for John D. Williams Cotillions and has travelled to six European countries. She hopes to continue filling her passport, but always loves returning home to the grandeur of Pike’s Peak.
