Lauren Golem is a law student at University Colorado Law School (Class of 2020) concentrating in criminal law. She graduated summa cum laude from California State University Long Beach with a degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, and Emergency Management and a minor in Political Science. While in college, she interned with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which drove her passion to pursue a law degree at CU Boulder. Her first-year summer internship was with the United States Attorney’s Office in Denver, and she will continue with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in her third year of law school.
Lauren is the current Vice President of the Federalist Society, Colorado Law chapter. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to promote a diversity of ideas and incorporate conservative and libertarian values in the dialogue on CU Boulder’s campus. She is also involved with the Christian Legal Society and is a Colorado Law Ambassador. She loves volunteering at Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy—a horseback riding school for children with special needs, hiking, traveling, boating, and wakeboarding.
