Freedom Conference Keynote Speaker: Heather Mac Donald

We are excited to announce our keynote dinner speaker at the Freedom Conference, Heather Mac Donald. She will speak on “America in Crisis” in a conversation with former Tony Blankley Fellow Jillian Kay Melchior of the Wall Street Journal.

Heather Mac Donald, Manhattan Institute Fellow, City Journal contributing editor, and bestselling author, will give the keynote address at this year’s 12th Annual Freedom Conference. Heather is one of the most incisive political commentators of the generation and recently published a viral op-ed in The Wall Street Journal on the myth of systemic police racism.

Mac Donald’s newest book, The Diversity Delusion: How Race and Gender Pandering Corrupt the University and Undermine Our Culture (2018), argues that toxic ideas first spread by higher education have undermined humanistic values, fueled intolerance, and widened divisions in our larger culture.

She will address these themes and more in her keynote dinner speech moderated by Jillian Kay Melchior, editorial page writer for The Wall Street Journal and former Steamboat Institute Tony Blankley Fellow.
